For most organisations, marketing their sport or activity will be a primary objective. The more members and interest which can be generated, the better a sport’s prospects will likely be.

Simply put, marketing is the art of selling your brand to potential customers – letting more people know who you are, what you stand for and convincing them why you are a good thing. There is no magic bullet which can do this for you – it takes time and effort to ‘build a brand’ and to sell it successfully.
