CCPR's inaugural European Sports Summit was held at the Oval on 10 June 10am-4pm. It brought together many of Europe's most influential sports policy thinkers and doers, for the first time. Speakers included:
- Europe’s highest ranking sports official Michal Krejza (Head of the Sports Unit at the European Commission)
- The UK’s Minister for Europe, Jim Murphy MP
- Lord Colin Moynihan, Chair of the British Olympic Association
- Richard Caborn MP, President of the Amateur Boxing Association
- Chris Heaton-Harris MEP, Chair of the Sports Intergroup
- CCPR chair, Brigid Simmonds OBE
- Professor Stephen Weatherill, Jacques Delors Professor, Oxford University
- Mathieu Fonteneau European Sports Lawyer, French Olympic Committee
- James MacDougall, CCPR's European and International Officer
