CEO Development Programme

CCPR is delighted to announce the launch of an innovative new link up with the Cass Business School. Together with Cass, CCPR is offering a bespoke Chief Executive Officers’ Development Programme to CCPR members. The programme is grounded in leadership and management theory and based on standards produced by the Management Standards Centre and has been specifically tailored to sporting organisations.

The programme will enable participants to:

• develop and enhance their leadership skills
• clarify their role in delivering your organisation’s corporate objectives
• develop their management skills to ensure their team deliver effectively
• increase their planning proficiency, including change management
• develop networking skills and contacts and share best practice with other CEOs
• develop their partnership working skills
• increase their knowledge on how to run a company including financial management

Cass is one of Europe’s leading providers of business and management education and research and all participants completing the course will receive a certificate from the school which can be used as a cretdit towards a Certificate or Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership.

Spread over a 9 month period from June 2008 to March 2009, the core programme consists of three elements; a 360 degree evaluation, 3 modules and peer learning sets.

CCPR will be subsidising the costs of the course for CCPR members.
