TLDC, the sports and leisure market intelligence experts, works with organisations to identify growth opportunities from the analysis and understanding of user data and from market intelligence. Using Member Profiling, Geographical Mapping and Facility Data, TLDC analysis can provide evidence for membership & facility strategies, strategic planning and sponsorship opportunities. The analysis can also be beneficial in assessing social inclusion policies and potential for grant allocation.

Profiling
Using Mosaic, the leisure industry standard in consumer segmentation systems, TLDC helps organisations understand their membership base by profiling members into the 11 Mosaic groups and 61 Mosaic types.

The profile can analyse all members or focus on age groups, sex, joining date or any other categories held by the organisation. Profiling can be undertaken from a simple file of member postcodes

Analysis of member data can be compared with UK/regional/catchment demographics to understand the percentage of target groups who are currently members. Participation user data for one-off events can also be evaluated. Target marketing, based on the Mosaic profile, is employed to attract new members.

Mapping
TLDC produce easy to understand maps displaying a customisable range of data layers including member, Mosaic, coach, volunteer and facility locations for planning and resource allocation.

Facility Data
Facility data is available from TLDC’s comprehensive leisure database which encompasses 14,000 operational and 1,000 planned sporting sites.

TLDC is the official data supplier to the FIA and BISL and supply extensive facility information to Sport England for their Active Places website.
