Regional Committee
The Regional Commitee has delegated responsibility for raising awareness of issues related to the English regions, and supports member organisations fulfil their responsibilities at regional level. Within CCPR, it represents the interests of voluntary sector sport and recreation.
Its membership is made up of:
- Two members elected by each Regional Federation
- One representative of each CCPR Division, who should have current or recent experience of regional work.
Its objectives are:
- To co-ordinate and represent the views of the Regional Federations for the benefit of the whole of voluntary sector sport and recreation and their development.
- To act as a two-way conduit between the CCPR Board and the six Divisions.
- To liaise with the member services and support committee, in order to create links between regional and national work programmes and campaigns.
